1 引言
为缩短新产品开发周期、提高产品的设计和制造质量、增强企业对市场的快速响应能力,一系列新的产品快速开发技术应运而生,如CAD/CAM/CAE技术、反求工程技术、快速成型技术、快速模具技术、虚拟设计技术以及并行工程等。其中,反求工程(Reverse Engineering,简称RE)已经成为新产品快速开发过程中的核心技术,它与计算机辅助设计、优化设计、有限元分析、设计方法学等有机组合构成了现代设计理论和方法的整体,已经成为先进制造技术的研究热点【1
